Constructed of high quality synthetic stitched leather, the exterior of the bag consists of three types of handles and straps to allow athletes to execute versatile types of exercises by using different grips.
The Variable Angular Resistance of this bag breaks the tradition from the static resistance devices (such as free weights). Rather than creating resistance by pushing weight away from and toward the body (static resistance), the HeroStrength® “Rescue” Bag uses accelerating and decelerating movements to swing and spin the bag at various angles to the athlete’s body. Results include overall body strength and agility using the elements of gravity, momentum, and inertia in physical exercise training.
There is also an AEROBIC effect due to the high intensity bouts of exertion which increase metabolic rates higher than traditional weight training and cardiovascular activity with exercises that include both weight training and fast dynamic movement.
The HeroStrength® “Rescue” Bag allows users to learn fundamental movements, how to apply movements to workouts, and how to introduce the “spin” technique safely.
Exercises, like any other plyometric shock-training exercises, involve an increased risk of injury due to the large forces that are generated during acceleration, and should only be performed by well-conditioned individuals or under supervision. Because the handles of the “Rescue” Bag are flexible and not rigidly fixed to the body of the equipment, it is harder for an athlete to transfer the weight of the equipment to his or her forearm and arm muscles than with traditional iron weights, and more load is carried by athlete’s wrists. The use of wrist wraps may therefore be advisable for people with weaker wrists to provide additional support.
